Ready for an adventure? NVTA and Vine Transit are here to help teachers in grades TK-12 (and camps too!) take fun and affordable field trips around Napa County. Using our established fixed-route services and schedules, we can help plan your trip, answering all your questions to make sure you reach your destination safely and on time. Got a larger group? No problem, we can provide a second bus when needed, and all of our vehicles are ADA accessible. It’s a fun way for kids to learn about their local transit system. Ride the Vine to explore the area with ease!
Planning a Field Trip:
- Three (3) weeks in advance of your field trip, complete the Vine Field Trip Application (below).
- NVTA staff will review the application within one week and confirm if we have the capacity.
- If there is capacity, you will receive a step-by-step itinerary and be asked to submit payment. Cost is based upon current fares of $2 per adult and $1.25 per child, each way.
