COVID19

The safety of our riders and staff is our number one priority. We’re committed to upholding the safety standards outlined by the Bay Area Healthy Transit Plan and the American Public Transportation Association’s Safety & Health Commitments Program.

Here’s how we’re keeping you safe:

Free Ride to Vaccine Appointments

We’re offering a free ride to and from vaccine appointments, to help protect our community and support equitable COVID-19 vaccine distribution.

Enhanced Cleaning

We’re using a CDC-approved disinfectant nightly, to deep clean all vehicles. Crews spray disinfecting mist on all surfaces onboard the vehicles, let it sit for a few minutes to kill viruses, then scrub to remove any physical particles. They then repeat the process with high touch surfaces on the outside of the bus, like doors, door frames, and bike racks.

Face Covering

Face coverings are encouraged on our vehicles, at our bus stops, and at all of our facilities.

Healthy Workforce

We’re working hard to keep our team safe and healthy. We provide PPE to our drivers and staff members, stagger office shifts whenever possible, and adhere to strict safety protocols at our facilities. Our staff is required to stay home if they’re sick and encouraged to get tested often. We have also installed hand sanitizer stations for our drivers and staff inside our transit facilities.

Visual Indicators

We have posted large signs onboard buses and at the transit center to reinforce social distancing guidelines and face covering requirements. We also reinforce these ideas through weekly social media posts, and will continue to do so throughout the pandemic.
