V-Commute Fall Commute Challenge!

Ready to shake up your commute — and maybe win some rewards while you’re at it?

The V-Commute Fall Challenge is back September 1–30, 2026, encouraging Napa County commuters to leave the solo-driven car at home and choose a greener way to get where they’re going.

Throughout September, swap your usual drive for biking, walking, carpooling, public transit or remote work and log your trips through V-Commute for chances to earn rewards.

Existing V-Commute members can just keep logging their trips as usual. New participants can set up a V-Commute RideAmigos account anytime and begin logging their trips. (Check out the V-Commute app in the App Store or Google Play).

Not sure where to start your new commute? Try taking Vine Transit to work, meet a coworker for a carpool, hop on your bike or turn part of your commute into a walk. We can help you start a Vanpool! Even working from home counts — because every solo car trip you skip helps reduce traffic and emissions.

And there are plenty of perks beyond the rewards. Active commuting can add a little exercise to your day, transit gives you time to read, scroll or relax instead of sitting behind the wheel, and carpooling can make the morning drive a whole lot more social.

Most importantly, every trip counts. When more of us choose alternatives to driving alone, we help make Napa County’s roads a little less crowded and our air a little cleaner.

Less traffic. More movement. Better commutes. And rewards? Not a bad way to start fall.
